Ing. Mojmír Chabroň

I started as a .NET developer, later led teams and designed products. Today, as CTO of a software company, I am responsible for the technology, architecture and operations of a chatbot and AI platform for the public sector. That lets me see the whole chain: from code through the pipeline to the server it runs on.

Chatbot platform for government and insurers

I have been building chatbots since 2017, long before LLMs arrived. Since 2020 I have led the architecture and development of a chatbot and webchat platform: bot management, reporting, licensing, deployments in the cloud and fully offline on-premises. About 20 customers in Slovakia and Czechia, from ministries to insurers and a university.

AI platform for document assistants (RAG)

Design and development of an AI platform from ingestion to answer. A horizontally scalable processing server (connectors, parsers, vision LLM document conversion, embeddings, Redis Streams queues), an AI API with LangGraph agents and streaming, hybrid search with a reranker and quality measurement with an LLM judge and nDCG.

Digitalising a ministry's workflows with AI

Design and delivery of several systems for the ministry, from portals and data collection to AI modules. Interesting topics: single sign-on through the ministry's identity provider, semantic search in an archive of decisions, AI answers grounded only in verified sources, document processing with Document Intelligence and accessibility under ID-SK and WCAG.

AI in public administration: documents and speech

Solutions where AI helps civil servants process submissions and recordings. Interesting topics: LLMs and OCR over scanned documents, integration with the existing document management system, deployment in the state's closed environment (OpenShift, watsonx), speech-to-text transcription and governance under the AI Act.

Connecting the chatbot and the website with a live operator through video, screen sharing and Microsoft Teams. Interesting topics: real-time communication over Azure Communication Services, scheduled consultations linked to a booking system, a webchat plugin and call reporting.
